ABOUT DR. O'HANLON

His extensive experience also includes advising political and community leaders, reflecting his deep commitment to community and leadership.

His teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Government, Economics, World History, Geography, United States History, Comparative Religions, Law in America, Politics, A.V.I.D., and College & Career Readiness. His commitment to building strong, supportive relationships with students, teachers, and families is a cornerstone of his educational philosophy.
A notable achievement in his career was leading the successful passage of the 2024 Brandywine School District Operational Referendum, which set a record for the largest margin of victory (76.24%) ever recorded in the State of Delaware for any school district operating referendum. This monumental success underscored his leadership capabilities and ability to mobilize and inspire the community toward a common goal.
Dr. O'Hanlon often quotes Maya Angelou, saying, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel." This belief guides his approach to education and leadership, ensuring his impact is profound and lasting.
